I started painting with oils recently. I am loving it so far. The colors do not end up darker as in acrylic paintings. The paint goes on much smoother than acrylics. Blending is so much easier. Most of all, the paints do not dry up on the palette in minutes. I am no longer hurried in my painting sessions because there is no fear of the color mixtures drying up.
