This painting is part of a series inspired by views of my neighborhood Windemere Drive in Andover, Massachusetts.

It is early morning in January. The view is looking towards the end of the street (North-West direction) from my house.

I have tried to capture the warm light in contrast with the cooler surroundings. The snow-covered path leads the viewer into the painting.

This is a trail near by. The shaded path is marked by wild flowers one side and open field on the other. It runs along the Shawsheen river.

Circles abstract with flowers and patterns

I wanted to play with color and create a really bright abstract painting using oil paints. This painting looks part circles, part flowers. I like the abstraction on flowers into circular patterns and designs.

Backyard tree

This is a painting of a tree in my backyard. It was a nice day in April, when I got a chance to paint this on location outside. I like the composition of this painting, the yellow sunlit grass and the bright blue sky.
