Champney falls in New Hampshire
This is a large painting I did after our family hike to Champney falls in New Hampshire. I was so inspired by the flora and fauna on the way to the falls that I had to put the leaves in the foreground!
I am happy to announce that this painting was chosen to be on the poster of the Illuminations Oct-Dec 2017 exhibit at Mass General Hospital Cancer Center.
Yellow house
8" X 8", Oil on panel
This painting is an outcome of playing with color. I was intrigued by the color of the shaded part of the house. The yellow in the sunlight is pure and light. The greenish yellow in shade is darker but rich. The combination of both yellow and green works with the blue background.
