Pink rose candy

This is one of my series of big floral paintings. The painting has saturated colors as well as neutrals. I would say it is generally cool with hints of warmth.

Pink pond

Pink and peach are my favorite colors. Mixing them gives this wonderful warm and cool feeling at the same time.

Sunflower bouquet

Sunflower bouquet #2, Acrylic on canvas, 8" X 10"

Blue Ridge

This painting was inspired by the Blue ridge mountains in Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Champney falls in New Hampshire

This is a large painting I did after our family hike to Champney falls in New Hampshire. I was so inspired by the flora and fauna on the way to the falls that I had to put the leaves in the foreground!

I am happy to  announce that this painting was chosen to be on the poster of the Illuminations Oct-Dec 2017 exhibit at Mass General Hospital Cancer Center.

White and blue house

Inspired by the House on the Strawberry hill farm. The different values in shade and the bright side is what makes this painting come alive.

Yellow house

8" X 8", Oil on panel

This painting is an outcome of playing with color. I was intrigued by the color  of the shaded part of the house. The yellow in the sunlight is pure and light. The greenish yellow in shade is darker but rich.  The combination of both yellow and green works with the blue background.

Circles abstract with flowers and patterns

I wanted to play with color and create a really bright abstract painting using oil paints. This painting looks part circles, part flowers. I like the abstraction on flowers into circular patterns and designs.

Blue City Jodhpur, Sold

This painting was inspired by my native city Jodhpur, in Rajasthan, India.  The Rajasthani culture is full of color and not to forget delicious food.
This painting is now Sold to a dear friend and art lover.
